Escaping the Orbit
This publication explores the theory and practice of exiting the orbit of routine, of drifting off the beaten path through artistic experimentation. It weaves theoretical texts from the past—exploring the Situationist practice of the dérive and the surrealist concept of psychic automatism—with contemporary artistic practices imbued with the same spirit in order to create a lens that casts the future in a new light.
Self-published artist book.

This publication was the materialization of a particularly intense year of research into Situationist practices, particularly the dérive, as a method to pop the filter bubble and escape the loop of the everyday. The publication loosely threads together a small sample of foundational historical texts with contributions of artists she had collaborated with throughout that time whose practices, in varying degrees, connected to the research.
