What Time is Venice Closing?
A publication exploring the impact that mass tourism has on local life in Venice. The final publication under the same title, seeks to confront the traditional guidebook to Venice, encouraging a redirection of the gaze and a reassessment of the way we interact with the places we move within. Through theories of supermodernity and heritage tourism, the publication describes the authentic life as participating in a local community and feeling a sense of purpose—a living history, rather than a replication of the past.
